Staph aureus is a ubiquitous organism that colonizes the skin/nares and can cause invasive disease.

  • Pyogenic skin and soft tissue infection

  • Endocarditis

  • Abscess

  • Pneumonia

  • Infection of prosthetic devices

  • Others
