Concurrent Administration of Vaccines

Inactivated Vaccines

In general, inactivated vaccines may be administered at the same visit, or at any time before or after, other inactivated or live vaccines.

Live Vaccines

Live vaccines given parenterally (IM/subcut/intranasal) should be administered at the same visit.

If two live parenteral vaccines are not administered at the same visit, they should be given at least 4 weeks apart to ensure adequate immune response to the second vaccine.
