Infectious Disease consultation recommended in invasive infection.

Candida species isolated from respiratory cultures (including bronchoscopy) are typically colonizing organisms and do not require treatment.

Candida species isolated from urinary cultures (especially catheterized patients) are typically colonizing organisms and do not require treatment.
