Definitions

  • Usually mild
  • Localized to the sigmoid colon
  • No severe symptoms
  • No signficant comorbidities
  • Abscess
  • Perforation
  • Obstruction
  • Fistula
  • Severe infection or sepsis
  • Significant immunocompromise
  • Significant comorbidities
